Mike

Hello, my name is Michael (Mike) Brenton.  I own and operate Brenton Music Center, located in Moody, Alabama.

I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.  I also have more than eleven years experience in classical guitar.

I have been teaching music from 1976 to present.  My goal is to see students progress and achieve their potential goal.

I studied classical guitar with David Walbert, who previously taught at Fretted Instruments, and who now teaches out of his home.

I had two great piano teachers, Mrs. Fitzsimmons, who taught me at Jefferson State Jr. College in Birmingham, Alabama and Mr. Steve Nelson, who taught me at Samford University.

I look forward to teaching students who are dedicated.

I also teach the basic fundamentals of Banjo and Mandolin.  I can also carry a Bass guitar student up to an intermediate level.
